Pimples & Acne
Acne is a common skin condition that occurs when hair follicles become clogged with oil and dead skin cells. It most commonly affects the face, neck, chest, and back. Acne can manifest in different forms such as blackheads, whiteheads, pimples, cysts, and nodules.
Pimples, also known as zits or spots, are a type of acne that occurs when the hair follicles become inflamed. They appear as raised, red bumps on the skin, often with a white or yellowish head. Pimples can be painful and can occur anywhere on the body where hair follicles are present.
Acne and pimples are caused by a combination of factors, including excess oil production, bacteria, hormonal changes, and inflammation. Certain factors, such as stress, diet, and medications, can also contribute to the development of acne.
Treatment for acne and pimples depends on the severity of the condition. Mild cases can often be treated with over-the-counter topical treatments
