Breast Cancer Screening ($400)
Breast screening is an imaging assessment used to evaluate breast tissue and identify abnormalities that may require further medical evaluation. Our clinic offers a breast screening package that includes a mammogram and breast ultrasound, performed by trained radiographers and interpreted by qualified doctors. This screening is suitable for women who wish to assess their breast health as part of routine medical care.
A mammogram uses low-dose X-rays to produce images of breast tissue. It is commonly used as a screening tool for women above certain age groups. Breast Ultrasound uses sound waves to examine breast structures and may help assess areas of concern detected during physical examination or mammography.
Images will be reviewed by a qualified radiologist, and a report will be provided.
Who May Consider Breast Screening?
Breast screening may be considered by:
Women aged 40 years and above
Individuals with family history of breast conditions
Women who notice changes in breast tissue
Individuals who wish to include breast screening as part of routine health checks
A doctor’s consultation may be recommended to determine the most appropriate screening method.
Preparation for Mammogram?
Before your appointment:
Avoid using deodorant, lotion or powder on the chest or underarm area
Wear a two-piece outfit for convenience
Inform the clinic if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
Important Information to take note
Screening tests are intended for medical assessment and do not replace a consultation with a doctor.
Results may indicate the need for further tests or follow-up consultations.
Not all abnormalities detected through screening indicate serious disease.
If you notice breast symptoms such as a lump, persistent pain, or discharge, please consult a doctor promptly.
